Patricia Henríquez-Piskulich completed her MSc at Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación, and is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, supervised by Devi Stuart-Fox and me. She is exploring the factors influencing variation in the colour patterns of bees, and was instrumental in developing the Bee Tree resource. She has conducted some very nice experiments revealing how a glossy colour acts as an antipredator strategy in fast moving prey.
