Mathew Symonds
Collaborators
Mathew is a former post-doc and is now a Professor at Deakin University. His group uses phylogenies to address questions about the evolution of traits, either by investigating the mode of evolution and extent of phylogenetic signal in the trait, or by carrying out phylogenetic comparative analyses to identify ecological selection pressures. We mostly collaborate on studies investigating the evolution of pheromone diversity and the diversity of insect antennal morphology.
